Part 2 - Internal Preparations
This class will focus on Teas, Tinctures, Acetums, and Glycerites. Learn various methods of making these internal herbal preparations and what they are best used for.
In this hands-on class we will make a fresh plant glycerite together for each participant to take home, as well as individual tinctures from fresh plants or your choice harvested in the garden. Leave feeling confident in making these medicines at home with 2 new preparations for your home apothecary. Detailed handouts with recipes included!
We will take a break in the middle of class to chat & grow our herbal community with an opportunity to walk in the gardens. Please bring a snack if needed, a water bottle (which you can refill), and anything you need to take notes.

COVID precautions - we will be inside for most of the class, so please bring a mask to wear when indoors if you will feel more comfortable. Check-in with yourself a couple of days prior to the class. If you have been around anyone with COVID-19 in the past 2 weeks or are feeling unwell, please stay home to rest and let us know us know you will be unable to attend. As the class date nears, we will adjust these precautions according to current CDC guidelines.
